While working for a local organization that spent a significant amount of effort training doulas, we had to invest in an anti-racist anti-bias (ABAR) approach to ensure the doulas that would be entering into our communities would be prepared to provide culturally safe and congruent support. Willow was essentially in helping us apply an ABAR lens to our training.
